Speaker’s Background
Amanda Davey is a gifted advocate who has twenty years of experience in education, with the majority of her career spent as an administrator in three different mission-specific gifted elementary and middle schools. She is regularly invited to speak on matters pertaining to gifted and has presented at schools, gifted conferences, parent organizations, and was the keynote speaker for the annual meeting of Illinois Association of School Boards. Amanda serves as an active member of the education committee for the Illinois Association for Gifted Children and is a member of both the National Association of Gifted Children and the Chicago Gifted Community Center. She possesses advanced degrees in Organizational Leadership in education and Gifted Education.
