This Week’s PSA Meeting Recap

Thanks to the parents who joined us this past Wednesday for the November Parent School Association (PSA) meeting. Couldn’t make it? Some highlights:

> Pumpkin Fest 2024 was a BOO-tiful success with more than 212 attendees gathering on West Campus, making $3,200 in revenue, and coming in 13% under budget. Huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped the day run smoothly!

> Congrats to all the Room Parents who threw fun-filled Halloween parties for our kids on October 31. Quest Auction class projects are now underway with room parent assistance – ask your child what they’re working on!

> Did you know Teacher Appreciation happens year-round at Quest? Here’s what different grades recently gave to our 56 faculty and staff:

September:  $15 Amazon gift cards from Grade 6

October: Hand sanitizer and lotion sets from Grade 2

November: Stay tuned … involves food from Grade 1

> Save the Date for International Fest, Quest PSA’s celebration of our diverse community: February 23, 2025, 1-4 p.m.

> New this year for the Kingdom Campaign: House Challenge! Make your donation now for a chance for your child’s house to win a pool party this summer, plus snacks and swag at every house meeting! https://questacademy.org/supporting-quest/donate-to-kingdom-campaign/

> Book Fair is Coming — December 10-12

One of Quest’s favorite traditions is back. New this year: dedicated bookshop space in Academy Hall, more robust Middle School selection, and cookies and cocoa reception after Winter Concerts. Be on the lookout for opportunities to help on our PSA Volunteer WhatsApp group.
