School Safety Improvement Update

Greetings Quest Community,

If you recall, our community heroically came together last spring to alleviate our concerns over the safety of our most precious resource – our children. As a result of your generous contributions at our Night of All Knights Auction last spring, we set out to improve our campus visibility and the security at our main entrance.

It gives me great pleasure to update you on our progress:

  • Security Cameras – This summer, we upgraded and expanded security cameras in our parking lots, around the exterior of our buildings and on the West Campus. We now have critical visibility of students from the moment they leave our main building, through their entire path to West Campus!
  • 2-Stage Security Doors – This complex project was initiated over the summer, involving architectural plans, front canopy reinforcement, electrical rewiring and extensive permit approvals, all being completed. We are now awaiting the fabrication and installation of the new custom door system to be followed by hvac installation and extension of the fire suppression system into the new secure vestibule. We anticipate installation of the new door system to be completed before the end of Winter Break.

On behalf of all the faculty and staff of Quest Academy, we are heartily grateful for your generosity and for your shared concern over our children’s safety.

See you at the 4K Family Run!
