Quest Academy students extend their impact beyond the classroom and into the real world!

One way this is accomplished is through the inventive process of taking an idea through various models to develop a working prototype. The resulting innovative designs enter the Illinois Student Invention Convention process, with certain inventions advancing to compete at local and national levels.

At Quest, our gifted students value the journey of discovery and the depth of the iterative process. The end result is certainly rewarding and we are very proud of all our student competitors!

Congratulations to the six Quest Academy students who advanced to the Invention Convention worldwide competition at The Henry Ford earlier this month. RTX Invention Convention U.S. Nationals is hosted annually at The Henry Ford and showcases student inventors from among thousands who compete at state and local invention competitions.

Congratulations to Arnav C for receiving 1st place at the National 8th Grade Level and Portia D for receiving 3rd place at the National 6th Grade Level. Additionally, Arnav earned National Best of Show, Health and Medical Award by Danaher Foundation, and is a Patent Application winner.
