Quest Academy Scholastic Bowl Team Attends IESA State & National Tournament

On Friday, May 6th, our Quest Academy Scholastic Bowl team competed in the IESA Class A State Tournament and earned 3rd place!  In prior years, Quest Academy has earned 4 State Championship titles, 2nd place, and 4th place. We are very proud of our Scholastic Bowl team for their dedication and hard work this season.
On Saturday and Sunday, the MSNCT (Middle School National Championship Tournament) at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare brought 144 top teams from around the U.S., and even two teams from South Korea!
Quest competed with A, B & C teams, so students competed the whole time without substitutions.  All three teams went 2-6 (missing 4 strong players) in this national, “in person” tournament gaining lots of experience and building their confidence!

7th grade student, Nishant Narayanan, placed 63rd individually out of 670 participants, with an average of 42.37 points per game!  Thank you to our Head Coach, Ms. Lisa Groh, our Asst. Coaches, Brennan Zehner ’18 and Mrs. Sedhurasan.  Thank you to our Scorekeepers, Mr. Narayanan, Mrs. Sirivedhin, Mrs. Byrne and all of our supportive parents!

Great job, Quest!
