Greetings Quest Community,
Welcome to another year at Quest Academy! We hope you share our excitement in having your children back in our classrooms as they take another step toward their bright futures.
I consider it a privilege to begin my first year as Head of School at such a critical time for our community and our world. I want this message to begin a dialogue with all of you about how we approach this future together and how we remain true to our ideals of providing the absolute best gifted education for your children.
First, in this time of uncertainty due to the COVID-19 virus and its variants, I want to reiterate our commitment to the safety of your children, our staff and our entire community. In accordance with the most recent guidance from the CDC, we will continue to emphasize thoughtful safety measures in all of our classrooms, buildings and school activities. Rest assured that we continue to monitor the local health status on a daily basis and will make appropriate adjustments when necessary to protect your children and our teachers.
Second, I want you to know that Quest Academy will remain true to its mission of providing a challenging curriculum in a nurturing environment for gifted students. We continue to improve our core academic subjects while adding new topics that will help your children thrive in an ever-changing world. We will leverage the arts to promote creativity and model the character traits we are known for. We look forward to resuming many of the traditional Quest activities such as After-School Sports, Saturday Morning Live, and off-campus field trips to expand our students’ confidence and give them experiences that allow them to apply what they are learning in the classrooms.
Lastly, I wanted to share with you that I see a bright future for Quest Academy and our learning community. With support from our Board of Trustees, our new Leadership Team and our teachers, we are developing a strategic plan that will build upon our strong foundation and propel Quest Academy to even greater heights by expanding student learning opportunities and providing new ways to access educational content. We look forward to sharing our vision with you in the coming months and having you join us on our journey to build a better tomorrow for our children.
