Dear Friends,
This quote is in the local Starbucks and it really spoke to me- appropriate for those we meet both big and small!
“Today you could be standing next to someone who is doing their best, not to fall apart. So whatever you do today, do it with kindness in your heart.”
This is my last day of employment, my last day as Head of School at Quest Academy, and my last day to serve along side you- although I hope most of you are taking a well deserved break by now. I am looking forward to cheering you on from afar.
I am aware that when the same words are spoken repeatedly, they lose impact. But at the risk of being completely redundant, I want to thank you one last time for all for the amazing work you do for gifted education in general and our precious Quest children in particular. I am in awe of the talent and dedication demonstrated in both word and deed by each one of you, no matter your assignment. What we cannot accomplish alone, we can do and have done brilliantly together. Our collective efforts have served our children and their families with excellence and great love. I am so proud to have been associated with you not only as colleagues and teammates, but as friends.
