Students are invited to participate in the school-day Halloween festivities on Tueday, October 31. Afternoon classroom parties are being planned with the room parents and will end with an all-school costume parade starting at approximately 3:00pm.
The parade route will include an outdoor path (weather permitting) and parents are invited to line the parade route outside in the coned-off area near the front entrance to view the creativity of our students.
A few reminders:
- Please remember that we do not allow costume masks or costume weapons, blood, or overly gruesome costumes. Thank you for thinking ahead on this so your child is not disappointed on the day of the event if they are out of compliance with these guidelines.
- Students and families should NOT bring in additional food items/treats and/or candy to distribute to classmates, other than what has been arranged through your Room Parent.
- Only Room Parents are permitted to attend the Halloween parties. We look forward to seeing all the parents lining the parade route in front of the building!
- Dismissal will occur through the main building car lines and West Campus (6th/8th) as usual. For safety, we will not release students to waiting parents in the parking lot; the dismissal team will direct you to the car line.
- After School Classes are cancelled. There will be normal After Care.
