Quest Academy Sickness Policy

Flu and Cold Season is here!

With the flu and cold season already making an appearance this school year, we want to remind you of our policies that are intended to keep our entire community of learners healthy. The Parent/Student Handbook outlines the school’s expectations for attendance, including that students should be 24-hours fever free (unmedicated) before returning to school. If a student is experiencing symptoms that are potentially disruptive to their learning or the class (excessive coughing, congestion, etc), they should stay home to rest. Please remember to notify the front office of any illnesses.

As always, we remind students of healthy practices such as washing hands frequently, covering their cough/sneeze with their arm, and sanitizing their workstations. Thank you for reinforcing these behaviors at home.

Please listen to your children and watch for signs of feeling unwell. Quest staff will contact you to pick up your child mid-day if they are unable to continue learning due to feeling sick. Consult Page 8 of the Parent/Student Handbook (on Quest Connect) for more information on student illness. Stay well!
