Biography

Every day, when I arrive at school excited and ready to learn and teach with my young students, who I know are learning every minute of their waking hours, and who I see not as adults-in-training but rather as fully formed human beings, I am guided by these words of Neil Postman: “At its best, schooling can be about how to make a life, which is quite different from how to make a living.”
