Teacher -- 2nd Grade

Quest Academy is seeking an innovative, dynamic, student-centered, and collaborative Fifth Grade teacher to join our faculty community for the 2022-2023 school year.

School Social Worker PS-8th Grade

Quest Academy is seeking a compassionate, dedicated school social worker to assist in addressing the developmental and social well-being of our students to join our school community for the 2022-2023 school year.

Job Description

Substitute Teacher

Quest Academy is looking to add qualified people to its substitute teacher list.

Substitutes must have a Bachelor’s Degree and be an experienced teacher.

Daily salary is $55 for 4 hours or less or $110 for over 4 hours.

After School Program Staff

Quest Academy, a private school for academically gifted children in Palatine, is seeking experienced staff to work in the Extended Day Program. The hours are 3:00 – 6:00 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 2:30 – 6:00 pm on Wednesday. It is not necessary to work all five days; availability exists for select days on a regular schedule. There are opportunities to work with children in PreK-K, first-third, and fourth-eighth grade. The program begins on Wednesday, August 21. Salary starts at $10.00/hr and increases with experience. All applicants must be First Aid and CPR certified (or show enrollment in certification class).

Job Summary
The Quest Extended Day Program staff are responsible for the well-being and supervision of preschool and elementary age children. We provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can enjoy both free play and planned activities.

Essential Functions

  • Monitor student daily attendance.
  • Set-up and clean-up program in cafeteria on a daily basis.
  • Help plan, prepare and implement daily snacks and activities for children.
  • Supervise recreational and snack periods.
  • Attend the three full-day programs offered during the academic year.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Extended Day Program Director.
